Eloping in Denmark
Intimate. Meaningful. Entirely yours.
A city hall wedding may be smaller in scale, but never in significance.
Whether you're travelling to Denmark for an intimate elopement, celebrating with your closest family and friends, or simply choosing a wedding that feels true to you, your day deserves to be documented with the same care and intention as any grand celebration.
My approach is calm, documentary and deeply personal. Rather than simply capturing what happened, I focus on preserving how it felt — the quiet anticipation, the joyful smiles, the meaningful glances and all the little moments in between.
My goal is to create a timeless visual story that allows you to relive your wedding day for years to come.

Getting Married in Denmark
Denmark has become one of Europe's most popular destinations for international couples who wish to marry. The process is straightforward, the paperwork is relatively simple, and no residency is required, making Denmark an attractive choice for couples from all over the world. Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or celebrating with your closest family and friends, I'm here to document your day with care, calmness and attention to every meaningful moment.
How does a City Hall wedding work?
Before your ceremony, you'll need to apply for approval to marry through the relevant Danish authorities. You can get help through wonderful Wedding in Denmark for your paperwork.
Once your application has been approved, you'll receive access to book your wedding date with your chosen city hall.
On your wedding day, you'll typically arrive around 15–20 minutes before your ceremony to check in and present your identification. The ceremony itself usually lasts around 10 minutes, followed by congratulations, your marriage certificate and, of course, plenty of time for photographs.
Where do we take portraits?
One of the things I love most about photographing city hall weddings is how effortlessly we can create beautiful portraits without travelling far.
I'll happily help you choose the perfect location based on the season, the light and your wishes.
What if it rains?
The Danish weather can be wonderfully unpredictable. Fortunately, some of the most atmospheric photographs are created on cloudy or rainy days.
If rain is in the forecast, I'll guide you to beautiful covered locations or bring clear umbrellas, allowing us to embrace the weather rather than worry about it.4
Can family and friends join?
Absolutely. Whether it's just the two of you or a small group of your closest loved ones, I'll happily document your ceremony, the celebrations afterwards and family portraits if you wish.
Every wedding deserves to be remembered.
Your experience
My approach is calm, unobtrusive and personal. Rather than directing every moment, I gently guide when needed and quietly observe the moments unfolding naturally around you.
My goal is simple: To create photographs that don't just show what your wedding looked like—but remind you exactly how it felt.
